Before we commit to a capsule format, our lab evaluates how your powder will compress. Powder density varies widely — a potent herbal extract and a fibrous plant protein don't behave the same way in a capsule shell. The right size (#1, #4, 0, or 00) depends on the fill weight, the powder's flow characteristics, and the finished product's dosing profile. We run that analysis in-house before tooling up a production run.
A customer walks in with a goal — a vitamin formula, a hydration powder, a new SKU for an existing supplement brand. Our formulators work with them to define the ingredient rationale, source specialty or high-value components, and produce a formula at bench scale. The customer tastes, adjusts, and signs off on a control sample. From there, the formula moves directly into the weigh-up room and onto the blenders. Nothing leaves the building.
